    On June 7, 2013, I made a reservation at www.uhaul.com for a 17’ truck and tow dolly for a one-way move between Philadelphia, PA and Wilmington, MA on June 28, 2013. At 9:31AM on June 7, I received an automated reply email from U-Haul confirming my order, with order number 20299519.     First of all let me tell you, you guys have very rude customer representatives. You should fire them all and hire new ones who are polite and know what they are doing. If you continue providing this kind of customer service, it won't be long that you would have to shut down the company.     I spent hours over the weekend trying to get answers to questions before placing my order. HOURS. I kept getting transferred to a recorded message and disconnected. The question I COULD NOT get answered was when would my shipment arrive. I had another company in mind that could have them at my door in two days. That's what was needed.   • Mistaken Withdrawal from my Bank Account



    U-haul in East Asheville, NC (Swannanoa River Road) charged me 1320 dollars mistakenly thinking that I had requested that my U-boxes be shipped from NC to Oregon. This was not the case. I never indicated that I would like them shipped nor did I schedule a date for them to be shipped. Not having 1320m dollars in my checking account, my account has been overdrafted and I've been charged 35 dollars due to a company's mistake.     I rented a cargo van that stunk like cow manure, I am a caterer so it was very unappealing to have me moving paper products and food in coolers in that stinky van, I only drove it 36 miles and they had the balls to charge me a cleaning fee??     Untrustworthy U-Haul dealer. We were falsely charged a cleaning fee for a truck rental returned because "there was dirt in the back of the U-Haul."     For starters, never try to rent a uhaul using the online reservations tools. My wife reserved our uhaul over three weeks in advance for our big move from Missoula, MT to Helena, MT, which is 120 miles apart. FOUR hours before we were planning on picking up the truck, a rep from uhaul calls and tells my wife they have only one truck available in Seeley Lake, 60 miles away. I scrambled to make another reservation with Budget and managed to get the truck I needed with only 3 hours notice.     Uhaul does not honor reservations. They can rent out your truck with no notification or chance to get another reservation. Waiting until after 5 pm on Friday when moving is schedule for Saturday at 7am. Everything packed up and just sitting.     If you like being spoken to with offensive language of sexual origin go to Peter St. U -Haul in Atlanta. I went to Castleberry Hill's Art Crawl last Friday night (May 14th, 2010) only to be verbally assaulted by a man U-Haul leases their parking lot to for evening events in this area. The offensive and crass language this man used with me in front of U-Haul customers and my colleagues was unforgiveable.   • unreliable service, reservation pulled



    I was very disappointed with the way my reservation was handled. We reserved almost a month in advance and were told the day before the move that equipment was unavailable because the "reservation was pulled." Half of our equipment was available in another city, but that was unhelpful since we needed everything we reserved. We were depending on your company and you let us down.
