Worst Experience Ever! Never Use Uhaul Again!
First of all we tried to book the truck several weeks in advance, but Uhaul will not confirm anything until 2 days before you actually get the truck.
So 2 days before we get the truck, they tell us we have to drive half hour to another city to pick it up because there are no trucks in our city. They say we%u2019ll get another 50km distance but we still have to pay for the extra gas to drive there and back.
So we drive to get the truck and the padding we booked for the furniture and paid $15 for is not there. Spend 20 mins on the phone and on Hold with Uhaul to get our $15 taken off the bill before we pay. When we get the truck it only has half a tank of gas. So after we move we drop the truck off we keep it a half a tank of gas. Then Uhaul still charges us $60 for using the extra miles (which they said they would give for free) and for a full tank of gas which we did not start with in the first place.
