gross negligence followed by intimidation - Tow Hitch Installation

1. appointment started late by 1 1/2 hour
2. they failed to install wiring – even after I paid.
3. 6 hours later - they installed wiring and returned the car with at least 12 significant defects (so far)
4. trim panels not re-installed, 3 panels damaged, two other panels improperly installed
5. panel mounting clips broken or lost. one panel found in back seat of car !
6.. dangerous defects to wiring. at least three locations wiring pinched - resulting in fire hazard, 3 more places wires improperly installed - exposed in unsafe manner outside trim panels
7. numerous large diameter holes drilled through frame/body of car - all in wrong location. these leave exposure to salt and water to enter and further damage the car - voiding warranty
8. damaged exterior paint in multiple locations - car was new and mint condition before 'mechanic' started damaging vehicle. I witnessed mechanic ‘accidently’ scratching car twice. He did not use proper tools.
9 hitch improperly mounted- damaging exhaust system, and causing loud rattle
10. back hatch gasket improperly reset - damaged beyond repair.
11. Wayne Curtis 'company president' has failed for 5 days to return calls as promised 14x by local staff and several times by HQ in USA.

12. car left unsafe to drive - fire hazard from short circuits where improper wiring is pinched between trim panels and metal body components.
13. U-Haul making concerted effort to cover up negligence, repeatedly lying to me about 'getting back to me".

14. U-Haul mechanic confirms that U-Haul negligent and unable to repair the damages they caused - dealer estimate approx. $3-4000.00
15. No one from U-Haul HQ ever called back.

16. U-Haul insurer (self insured?) refused to provide a rental car when my own was not safe to drive

17. battery cable protective cover removed and not reinstalled
18 at least 6 interior trim panel clips severely damaged beyond repair or any use. Panels left loose, and rattling in car
19 two interior trim panels damaged beyond repair
20. I witnessed the ‘mechanic’ trying to pry tail light fixture loose with using a flat head screw like a wrecking bar, He slipped twice and scratched the car. The light assemble required a Philips screw driver to unfasten.

21. later in the day I was followed to my home by two large men in an unmarked pick up truck. They approached my car from two directions frightening my fiancée. One of the men later identified himself as Wayne Curtis the president of U-Haul. It is rather upsetting that he would tail me (for hours?) rather than return multiple calls and messages left for him during the preceding 5 days.
